Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Tax, the Tax Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the Group’s corporate income tax compliance, support in tax accounting, tax reporting, and tax advisory activities. The role supports strategic business initiatives by providing tax expertise on financing, treasury, international tax matters, and business transactions while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and maintaining an effective tax governance framework.

 

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Tax Compliance and Reporting

  • Oversee tax accounting, including current and deferred tax, tax provisions, and tax disclosures under IFRS and local accounting standards. Support external audit process
  • Manage and support the monthly and annual financial close processes, including year-end tax reporting and effective tax rate (ETR) analysis
  • Manage and support the monthly, annual and mid-term corporate tax projections
  • Manage tax audits, tax authority inquiries, and relationships with external tax advisors and auditors
  • Coordinate the Group’s corporate income tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support Group Board, Audit Committee and Asset & Liability Committee reporting and presentation on significant tax matters where required

International Tax and Strategic Advisory

  • Support with the Group’s OECD BEPS Pillar Two compliance, including GloBE calculations, reporting, and implementation of legislative changes
  • Support on transfer pricing, withholding taxes, permanent establishment matters, and other international tax issues
  • Provide tax support for mergers and acquisitions, legal entity re-organisations, strategic projects, and cross-border business initiatives

Treasury and Financing

  • Act as the tax business partner for Treasury, advising on intercompany and third-party financing, cash pooling, withholding tax, and tax-efficient financing structures
  • Support financing transactions, dividend distributions, capital reductions, and other treasury-related tax matters

Tax Governance

  • Maintain and enhance the Group’s tax governance framework and internal controls
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks while ensuring compliance with the Group’s Tax Strategy
  • Monitor tax legislation and communicate business impacts and opportunities
  • Support in tax process improvements, automation, and digitalization initiatives

Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with Finance, Shared Service Center, Treasury, Legal, Accounting, Internal Audit, and business leaders from all jurisdictions to provide practical, commercially focused tax advice
  • Mentor junior tax professionals, where applicable, and contribute to the continuous development of the Group Tax function

 

Qualifications

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, or a related discipline
  • Swiss Certified Tax Expert or both Irish Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant, or equivalent professional qualification needed
  • 8–10+ years of corporate tax experience, ideally within a multinational listed company and/or a Big4 firm
  • Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, tax accounting, OECD BEPS Pillar Two, transfer pricing, and international taxation. Indirect taxation knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience supporting treasury activities, including intercompany financing, third-party financing, and cash pooling
  • Familiarity with SAP/SAP S/4HANA and other ERPs are an advantage. Tax technology is a plus
  • Fluent in English, other European languages are a plus

The place of work shall be Schlieren, however it is anticipated that this location will change by end of 2026 to Cham, canton Zug.
