THE ROLE
The Tax Manager (12‑month maternity cover) will assume responsibility for all Irish corporate tax compliance and play an important role in group transfer pricing and tax reporting matters during the contract period. The role supports internal stakeholders and maintaining strong governance in line with relevant tax legislation and group‑wide standards.
1. Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure full Irish tax compliance across corporation tax and other statutory filings.
- Prepare all Irish corporate tax returns and related statutory submission.s
- Prepare tax disclosures for Irish statutory financial statements.
- Support the preparation of current/deferred tax provisions under IFRS and preparation of related tax disclosures.
- Monitor Group corporate tax filing deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
- Monitor DAC6 compliance.
- Preparation of country by country report.
- Preparation of local files and master file.
- Management of intragroup recharges and financing processes.
- Assist with other transfer pricing documentation and liaise with external specialists as required.
- Management of certain holding companies, including preparation for local board meeting etc.
- Manage monthly group tax charge forecasting process.
- Liaise with colleagues and prepare support, where required, for internal cash movements within the group.
- Develop and maintain internal tax controls and processes.
- CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser), ACA/ACCA.
- 5+ years of experience in Irish corporation tax compliance, ideally from a multinational or Big 4/top‑tier practice.
- Familiarity with tax reporting under IFRS or FRS 102.
- Experience with transfer pricing.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex tax issues to stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with external advisors and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage workload in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with strong professional judgement.
- Contract type: 12‑month fixed‑term maternity cover
- Location: Ireland (hybrid – 3 days onsite)
- Start date: As soon as possible
